Can you think of contemporary art shows the influence of politics?

It is only a slight exaggeration to say that there is more of contemporary art with political content without it. Naturally, most of artists and their fans tend to be politically liberal, so it is always a great temptation for artists to glory in the value is increasingly showing that preach their political (though not really require courage at all, since they are well protected by like-minded people and always preaching to the choir). I do not mean be cynical. I'm the same artist, and I'm always having to suppress my own impulse to tell the world that I am a liberal – in case anyone could not understand anyway. One of my favorite artists policy is (was) Philip Guston. He spent years and years painting monstrous caricature of Richard Nixon Spiro Agnew, and laugh out loud fun. (Besides being nice to your style and dream images and pictorial qualities.)
