The art of hanging art
Follow these tips to learn the perfect way to show their art.
PLACEMENT
If you are hanging a priceless heirloom or a favorite art print, hanging several pieces of art or painting just one, the correct placement is critical. The most important considerations for the placement of works of art are the scale of the room and the art itself.
Always follow the general rule great art in open spaces, small art spaces. And always hang art with the center of the image at the same height that is 155-170cm the floor.
GREAT ART
Great works of art look good when used on furniture or a fireplace. But make sure that art is not more than furniture. There that about 2 / 3 to 3 / 4 the length of the object to be hung.
Never leave more than 20 cm of wall space between the bottom of your image and the object on which hangs. Otherwise the eye will focus on the wall instead of your art.
SMALL ART
Try to group small pieces if possible. Using similar or matching frames and mounts will bring unity to the whole, but not necessary if the theme or colors of the paintings and provide for the unit.
GROUPING ART
One of the more interesting ways to show the art is in clusters, which can be used in large or small spaces. There are several ways of grouping his professional art collection as described below.
Screen Room
Select a group of paintings with a common theme, such as color, matter, or even within a type. Parts must be of different sizes and can be focused or aligned above each other and side by side. The space between pieces should be kept constant to prevent the provision that appears at random.
Horizontal Display
Group a collection of works of art so differently framed directly next to each other with the frames almost touched. This allows a display of various works in a small space. Works best with an odd number parts and the largest piece in the center and getting smaller as it goes out.
Vertical Screen
Group a collection unique framed artwork directly above each other with the frames almost touched. The uniqueness of the frames and their various shapes and sizes are both stressed along a vertical axis.
Mosaic display
This arrangement is perfect for a niche in architecture and uses pieces of different sizes. Start lining up the parts out of a consistent outside edge square or rectangular and then fill the remaining space. The space becomes irregular as it is toward the center, but it works because the edges form a regular basis.
Show symmetrical
Displays a collection of pieces the same size in the same frame and the same distance between them. This can be a single row or rows can be added to create a grid. This is particularly true when the subject of all pieces is the same.
Asymmetric Show
Group a combination of three pieces to balance asymmetric two-piece screen with smaller stacked and centered near the larger piece.

If the image has more than 75 cm then you need to make two points in 1/3rd and 2/3rds the width.
