If Islam prohibits music, how is that liberal Islam variations have music so surprising?
The music that comes from Islam influenced Islamic countries or countries today, including remixes, trance, rock, alternative is so amazing! Not only the classical field, modern, even contemporary music! I refer to the music of Pakistan, Indonesia, Iran, Turkey, India (mostly), the United Arab United are worth trying. I'm not saying music is not good elsewhere. Like it or not Hollywood has a great influence on the music world today. But if Islam forbidden music, art was not supposed to die or atleast decrease in Islamic countries? Your comments ….
Islam forbids musical instruments all but one duff (drum-sided). The early Muslims were more dedicated to their religion and not practice what was forbidden. But then again, there are always people decide to do what you want and you have the non-practicing, that way, and the people of this kind in all religions. Moreover, the State was forbidden for Muslims only so any non-Muslims are free to do whatever they want and I am sure that you practice it, while some non-practicing Muslims also did it and therefore influence on them.
