Art Scene China – guiding local artists into the global spotlight
In 1997 China Art Scene began as an online gallery to familiarize the masses in China and around the world with contemporary Chinese art. Finally, when it became more popular, three physical galleries were established – two in Shanghai and in Beijing in January – to serve the public's growing demands.
Art Scene China is host to numerous exhibitions featuring the works of 25 artists from around reputation and the veteran. The most notable exhibitions of Chinese art scene is the 'Harvest I' and 'Harvest II' – recorded as the best and largest photo exhibition of modern Shanghai.
Taking local talent to the international arena, Art Scene China represents its artists in many exhibitions international art, as in San Francisco International Art Expo, Art Miami, Art Chicago, Art Cologne, as well as China International Gallery Exposition (CIGE).
When you visit the gallery, you have the privilege to purchase these beautiful and exquisite creations of these talented local artists.
Encourage, reward and promote the works of budding young artists in China, the gallery also founded the Chinese Art Prize in 2005. His effort was well received with over 800 applicants for the first contest of Chinese Art Prize, where a special panel of judges representing renowned galleries and museums around the world were present to hear the case.
Being on the road Moganshan in the area of Suzhou Creek in Shanghai, "" Artists' Quarter, is one of its galleries with the name – Art Scene Warehouse. The surface of this gallery spans about 1800 square meters, displaying an impressive collection of contemporary Chinese art. This gallery exhibits works art mostly large, high value, and glamor.
